This course provides entry-level skills necessary to work in the construction industry. Internships are available in: drafting, surveying, carpentry, construction supply, sheet metal, heating and air conditioning, cabinet making, landscaping, electrical, building maintenance, plumbing, glazing, equipment operation, and welding.

Pre-enrolled Adults for the Granite Bay High School class

Fees: Adults only - $100. registration fee per semester
This Class Offers:
  • For the serious minded student, entry-level skills and work attitudes, necessary to successfully compete in today's construction industry.
  • Pre-requisite work experience for admission to impacted college programs such as architecture, engineering, surveying or drafting.

  • Special Considerations:
  • To learn more about a career in construction check out these architecture and construction videos.
  • A student must be able to demonstrate a maturity level commensurate with the needs of the construction industry.
  • A successful student must be willing to follow directions, and have regular attendance.
